Earth Day Class Project Challenge

The Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History is teaming up with Earth Day Santa Cruz 2010 to present the 2nd annual Earth Day Class Project Challenge.
How it works: Classrooms will work together to identify an environmental problem affecting the Santa Cruz community. The class will develop and implement solutions to their chosen problem and create a display to effectively communicate the goals, objectives, and results of their project.
Who is eligible: All classrooms in the City and County of Santa Cruz. Open to grades K-12
Prizes: Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 projects (1st prize- $350, 2nd prize- $250, 3rd prize- $200). In addition, the top 3 projects will be included in an Earth Day Exhibit at the Museum during the month of May, 2010.
