Winter Docent Training Come be a part of our docent family! January 9: Animal Tours in English and Spanish. January 23: Museum Host Training. Museum hosts are floating docents who welcome visitors to the Museum and help exhibits come to life. January 30: Museum Storytime Training. In February the Museum will host a new weekly, winter event- Natural History Storytime on Thursdays from 3:30-4pm. Each week will focus on a different natural history theme. Our docents are invaluable to our public and school programs. Spread the word about our upcoming training and to register or for more information visit our website.
Duck flies South! Join Debby the Duck as she flies through the seven Coastal Lagoons featured in our current exhibit. Docent Greg Kolar created this interactive story “There’s no Place Like Home”, for young school children. The story guides children to the interpretive art created for all seven local lagoons. Ask at the front desk for the story cards and help our friend find her way home!
