Volunteer Tidepooling was a huge success last week. A great group of volunteers journeyed out during low tide and collected new specimens for our touch tank, including a colorful array of bat stars. These animals will be the last touch tank residents for 2011, so be sure to come visit them before they’re returned to the ocean in late December.
