Coastal Lagoons Last week’s exhibit opening was a great success. Attendees included Museum members, local artists featured in the exhibit, and scientists from the Central Coast Wetlands Group. This exhibit will run through February 25. Stop by soon to visit the exhibit, try a special tule boat craft activity, and more.

Share the news with the teachers in your life We’ll be hosting an Educator Open House on Thursday October 27th from 4-6pm. Educators are invited to the Museum for an afternoon Open House to get to know our educational resources and programs. We will have our Education Kits, slideshows, and specimens available to explore, and docents on hand to talk about our school and field programs and interpret our displays. Free for formal and informal educators.

Pilkington Creek Arborists were on site at the creek this week and have planted coast live oak and a big leaf maple. This is just one step in the future plans for this City property adjacent to the Museum.
