Over Mother’s Day weekend, as part of the Art of Nature exhibit, the Museum offered its first Illustration Station activity to our visitors. Below are some of the incredible images created by a few visiting artists.
The Illustration Station will be offered every Saturday this month. Create your own scientific illustrations of museum specimens including animals, skulls, and shells. Participants can make use of a variety of provided media: colored pencils, water colors, markers, graphite pencils, and more. All ages and abilities are welcome! Free with Museum admission.
Drop-in from 1-3 pm on the following Saturdays: May 14, May 21, May 28, 2011.
